Review on πŸ§₯ Fia OE37-6 GRAY Custom Fit Front Seat Cover Split Seat 60/40 - Gray Tweed by Sam Doucette

Almost perfect, but not quite.

I bought a Fia OE37-6 GRAY for a 2000 Ford Ranger with a 60/40 split seat. At first glance they look almost authentic to what you would expect from production seat covers. I'm no upholstery expert, but I think they're definitely worth the current price of $170. They are durable, well stitched, fit well and the fabric matches my original. Mine only lasts a few days, but so far it's working well. It takes some hand strength to pull each piece into place and secure. The haircut looks very good. The seat and back are additionally upholstered. The "touchless" fabric on the back and sides is thin and stretchy and works well. The straps and Velcro are very well attached and can withstand any pulling force. The fabric of the seat and backrest has an inner lining that feels almost like Velcro. This seems to help them grip the old pads and keep movement to a minimum. The final fit is very snug, with virtually no wrinkles or blisters. It does not fully cover the hinges where the seat connects to the backrest as shown in my photos. This is the only major downside and a little more thoughtful fabric could have made that 5 stars perfect. They don't have a special cutout for the side seat lever, but that's not very noticeable. The passenger side rear cover has a flap for easy installation. When installed, it leaves a noticeable gap (pictured). This is not the case on the driver's side, nor is it necessary. I don't know why the passenger side was made like this. Another reviewer mentioned that the driver's seat cover was loose at the contour near the console. That's true, but it looks great and isn't a big problem. The padding on the armrest cover is made of thin stretch fabric, fits well and looks good so far. I didn't install the lower armrest drawer cover because my original fabric matches the new fabric perfectly.
