Review on Portable acoustics Harman/Kardon Go Play Mini, 100 W, white by Stanislaw Banasiuk ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I didn't expect the quality to be so high.

I decided to get this column, and overall, I couldn't be happier with it; the performance is excellent in relation to both its size and its cost, and it simply isn't possible for it to have any minuses. An outstanding option for the value of your money. With its positives being: It plays loud and clear up to 70%, and it doesn't fall into a mess even on quick tracks, but at 70%, all harman products and its subsidiaries (JBL, AKG) start to suffer from sound compression and bass cutoff. This includes JBL and AKG. Because of its pricing, it does not have any rivals, and there is nothing silly that can be said about it. Nice design. A pleasant bass boost between 60 and 100 hertz, approximately 3-5 dB. Capability to charge gadgets using USB. Input 3.5 mm. Portability. Having these drawbacks: The battery is really weak. When the volume is increased, there is a significant loss in the bass, the speakers are too small, and there is also a decrease in detail and attack speed. The minimum threshold is approximately forty hertz (Hz), and below this point, everything is shut off. Only the bass sections are affected, however the maximum output power drops as the battery runs down. This is obvious. When compared to go + play, the decrease in maximum volume, power, and attack speed that occurs when the power is switched off is much less obvious, but it does still occur. Bug in the software: if you switch on a column that is substantially discharged and discharge it all the way to zero, the column may not display any signs of life. The only way to treat it is to forcibly charge it, and then wait for the battery to totally discharge. Due to the fact that the connection is only Bluetooth 4.1, there is a latency of around 200 milliseconds. No WI-Fi connection, no S/PDIF. Combining more than two speakers results in the loss of stereo and Harman dual sound, and it is not possible to combine more than two speakers.
