Grows MOLD!: Vacuum Flasks

My original review was 5 stars because I *thought* I'd found an awesome mug that my son loves. Well, that was before I discovered there was mold in that cup! The rubber band around the top of the cup also had mold stains on it. I washed and wiped this cup with a towel every day, how did this happen? How safe is it for a child to drink? I could only notice the mold in the cup when we were outside in the sun. I was shocked and outraged. What I also found strange was that my son had diarrhea for the past week and I couldn't figure out why! It got to the point where his doctor asked for a stool sample. Now I'm wondering if the mold in the mug has anything to do with it? Please, once you have this mug, check the inside (around the metal) and the elastic band near the straw, pull it out and take a good look. If you are considering this mug, don't do it, it's not worth it. I've only had this mug for a few months.
