First I asked a question what does it dance and said yes. They are! Much higher quality than some of the others floating around on Amazon. Some use an arch to hang the flame, but they use a rope that runs across the light, giving the flame a much more realistic look. That's all. i love it very much I saw that there were no reviews and took a chance because I ordered a different set and one of the candles was broken. They have a remote (fairly solid and the buttons are easy to press as they look like a real remote and no hard buttons) and they take 2 AA. Got a brightness setting, a flicker setting (personally the only bad thing about it as the fade isn't a smooth transition) so I don't use that. The candles themselves are beautiful and have a waxy feel. I thought I would spread them around the room but actually I prefer them bundled together and could order another set for that. Batteries last a long time, but be careful. They stay on for around 20-30 hours (using rechargeable batteries so they last less) before dimming. But they stay in dimmer mode for a VERY long time.
