When a friend suggested this carrier to me, I thought she was joking. She described it as "a plastic bladder with air holes/vent holes in the shape of a front cat carrier." vet for her appointment. I'm allergic to cats so it's important to keep them away from me. It looks like this carrier works. The front is made of hard plastic with ventilation openings on the front and sides and side storage pockets that provide additional air circulation. It's designed as a front pocket so the cat is next to me when I walk, which seems to help her stay calm. When I'm sitting, I take off my backpack and put it next to me, again holding the kitten close and still. As long as this system works well, we will only transport one cat in this transport box at a time. The shoulder straps are wide, comfortable and supportive. The body strap helps keep the backpack secure, but it can be modified, a thicker body strap with a buckle makes the backpack more stable.
