Review on Huion KAMVAS Pro 12: Full-Laminated Screen Drawing Tablet with Battery-Free Pen and Adjustable Stand - 8192 Pen Pressure by Michael Hellewell

I've been using Wacom for a long time until I sold my Cintiq Companion for GT-221 earlier this year and just recently Cintiq Pro 13 for this Kamvas Pro 12. I wanted something portable that would work with my laptop. Surprisingly, the Wacom 13in turned out to be too clunky and heavy, and honestly didn't work very well. I bought this Kamvas Pro 12 and Huion again proved itself to be a worthy competitor. Their products just keep getting better (FYI: for the price of Cintiq Pro 13, you can get Kamvas Pro 12 and 22). The 1920 x 1080 resolution display looks great. Setup was much easier than previous Huion models. They listened and the drivers got better. Aside from the fact that I had to buy a USB-C hub to use it, I was up and running as soon as it was plugged in. That was my biggest problem. No USB-C connection. I hope that such an opportunity will present itself in the future. The tablet itself is lighter than the included stand. It's about the same weight as my iPad Pro with a case. Fits comfortably in my lap and even though they're plugged in, they don't get in the way or make me feel like I'm working with a tangle of cables all around me. It was clean and I could paint on the couch or bed. The included stand is very durable and portable. It doesn't increase the volume of my backpack. The only thing not included is the stain guard that is their trademark. I want this. The cables aren't bulky either. I can pack anything in one of these laptop bags.
