At first I was intimidated by the thought of spending over $100 on a duvet set, but I'm glad I did. This duvet is lighter and softer than expected. It has a very luxurious feel. The material is not too thick but not too thin either, feels cheap. That's right. Seems to have done very well. Update: I washed this duvet and after one wash the filling that makes the duvet fluffy fell off. The entire duvet is made up of several pieces that have no filling and there is a large lump of filling in some places. It's still a good duvet but looks odd after one wash due to all the clumps of the filling :(
