I paid $12 for it, got the matte color as described. I received version 9040 of the map (dark background, gray for landmasses with a red line for the international UTC date line) print quality is good, everything meets the requirements, the size is exactly what I need. It feels good and encloses my desk properly, leaving just enough space for the keyboard away from my body without constantly rubbing my cheap desk's cheap non-wood surface. If you're looking for a matte finish, this seems like the right value. In a fair world the rating would be 3 stars - that's ok, it's a buddy - nothing really innovative in concept, not a sophisticated technological device (although I suspect the printing and materials aren't trivial either). I have no complaints. Everyone expects everything to be 5 stars and not 3. I can honestly say that this one has no flaws and fits my size and style, so 5 stars.
