I used this to create a simple test stand for computer components. Although the screen and components are a bit bulky, once installed in a small chassis, this is a much better solution than an old monitor. Most computers have an HDMI output, so that's not a problem, but I have adapters if needed. There weren't any dead pixels or color issues on the panel itself, it's not the best panel out there, but for a 1280 x 800 resolution at 10 inches, it's very comfortable for a small display! don't complain about the simple color options available. I can recommend this without hesitation as it was sufficient to enter the bios or a simple Linux environment to test the components.
