I went to my husband's compressor and it took me less than a minute and the plug popped right away. I'm not even trying to use the pumps that come with anything that needs to be blown up. My daughter jumped up and took off. We have a ball with grip and it's not easy for them. This dinosaur is much easier for a 2 year old. My seven is definitely too big, but that hasn't stopped her from rolling around the living room. The only thing I'm afraid of is that the dog will keep growling at him and might kill the dinosaur. Definitely recovers more than enough for a 2 year old to have fun
