Difficult to apply, severely affects screen quality

As with many other reviews, I had a very difficult time fitting these screen protectors to my iPad. The first attempt I made had tons of bubbles and trying to pop them out with the card that came with it ended up just scratching the screen protector which had NO screen protector on top. I threw away the first try and applied the second and was able to remove all but a few small bubbles around the edges and was generally happy with the app. It protects the screen well, it doesn't leave fingerprints, and I like the texture it leaves on the screen rather than bare glass. Unfortunately, this protection severely affects the clarity of the Retina screen. It doesn't matter to my app, which sits on a table a few feet away from me and isn't used for movies, games, or other media. If you use your iPad to watch movies, videos, games, or any other media that relies on the optical clarity of a retina screen, I would avoid it. Aside from the slight blurring of the screen, you can actually see a filmy coating up close, similar to greasy fingerprints covering the Retina display. I wanted a matte finish because the overhead light reflects off my desk very slightly. off the screen and manages to stop, but the degradation of the image is distracting, especially when it comes to text and light screens. I also have to say that the value for money is not very good as there is a high probability that you will not be able to use both protectors that come with it. Either one of them gets damaged or it is misused and needs to be discarded. Overall, I can't say I would recommend it, but it has a narrow scope where it can be useful. I initiate the return.
