They won't stop flashing until the brake is released!

There are good bulbs and all the LEDs work fine, it's just that I think mine are defective, every time I brake they start flashing but don't stop until I release the brake. I got pulled over because the cops don't know where I'm going if I turn left and my brake lights won't stop flashing like you have 3 lights on at once, tell me? It's good. I've seen some flash to let people know you're quitting and blush after quitting. It's not like your hazard lights come on every time you hit the brakes.
