My mother has dementia and loves everything bright, shiny and glittery. She had prettier "costume" jewelry that she gave away to other people at her adult daycare. We wanted something cheap a lot, so it's okay if she gives them away every time. I bought these beads as well as some plain round ones. Mom especially likes their shape and they still look great after a few months while the paint is peeling on some of the others. She often puts on 6 or 8 strands of beads at a time and random people are very nice to the little old lady when they see all of her beads :) The beads have survived several months of daily wear and make mom happy. What more could we want?
