A little tight. good for me
My 9 year old daughter is a bit small and skinny for her age. Size L (10) in these pants was still quite tight in the hips and back. I could see where these pants would not fit some of her more muscular friends in the same age group. However, my daughter wore them to play in the soft California snow and she was warm in them.
