I chose an inexpensive laptop with a discrete graphics card to play one single WOT game. The old ASUS N550LF stopped turning on and its GT 745M card did not run the game in FullHD at a comfortable fps. The rest of the Windows laptops were "ultrabooks" of 2022, with video built into the processor and 4GB of memory soldered, a kind of dead-end branch, like macbooks, which cannot be upgraded from memory since 2022. There are a lot of varieties of MSI GF63 Thin, get ready to carefully select the configuration. Somewhere there will be a weak video card, somewhere there is no backlight, somewhere there is a 126GB SSD with HHD 1Tb. Do not take the i5 processor, you canβt change it later, like a video card. The MSI GF63 Thin 9scsr-1026xru laptop turned out to be the most delicious for the price. There are i7 9750H processors and video GeForce GTX 1650 Ti MAX Q, which is the most optimal for a cooling system with a single cooler. Memory 8GB, SSD 256GB M2 NVME, there is an empty SATA3 slot. Memory achieves up to 64GB, which is enough for a dozen years of work. The case is not particularly impressive, the backlight is only red, but I liked the screen. Design and execution, for teenagers who feel sorry for trusting something more expensive. The keyboard turned out to be comfortable, the touchpad is tight, but you can get used to it. Win 10 loads instantly. Seconds 5-7 and all. But with the installation of firewood there are tricks. You need to install the latest assembly of Windows with the code 20H, and not any junk from the images. Otherwise, the firewood will not rise, just waste your time. WOT Encore RT gives 12600 without ray tracing and 8600 with ray tracing at ultra Full HD. It's more powerful than my old 3770K desktop and Radeon R9 290X which does 11150 and 6800. But if you change the memory and SSD, then get ready for a complex and accurate disassembly of the case so as not to break or dent it. The edges of the joints crinkle very easily. I liked the laptop as a budget. Everything you need is there, it's not hard to carry, an upgrade is possible. For work and 3D modeling, that's it. Sometimes play something. Take it with you on long business trips to put it somewhere as a replacement for a stationary one.
