Not so easy good for portable AV equipment

In this plug and play era, this device should have been designed much more simply. You need to have some technical knowledge to make the best use of this. Too many screens. I wanted a simple device that I could use to record and then plug it into my computer that would offer a slightly better experience than the iPhone. The device has great features built in, in my opinion it's too complicated.
