We keep our large bin in the garage until collection day. These liners solved the smelly trash can/garage problem. They are very large and easily fit in a large bin with plenty of overlap at the top. To keep the bag from falling off when we add trash, I put elastic cords around the outer perimeter of the top of the trash can (I used two bungees because I wasn't long enough). If you enlarge my photo you can see the placement of the bungee. We also spread a layer of baking soda on the bottom of the trash can. We no longer have leaking puddles of trash at the bottom of our bin - we also make an effort to bag our trash around the house before throwing it in the bin. When it's time to roll it to the curb, simply remove the elastic and tie the bag over it. Use a new bag after each garbage day. No more disgusting wastebasket!
