Even last month

My son really liked them but they didn't even last a month. He's always had rubber boots and usually only grows out of them with wear and tear. Nothing special happened, they just fell apart (as seen in the photo), not even at the seam. It seems to me that the tear was caused by the flexing of his ankle as he bent over.
