Review on Labwork Assembly 2005 2015 Taillight Aftermarket by Jamie Rogers

Good value for money when you have two work lights.

Arrived well packaged. Installation was pretty easy for my 2014 Tacoma. Unscrew 3 10mm screws and pull out the old one. Remove the turn signal and tail light bulbs from the old lamp to install them in the new one. Unplug and plug in a new one, pretty easy. Test before you zip everything back. If you flash quickly, it means the turn signal is not working. Eventually I found that the metal connector on the passenger side was deformed, it was flat on one side. The original and the replacement on the driver's side had a noticeable "dent" on the connector. I found a small piece of stranded wire and stuck it between the bulb and the plug. This solved the problem. Then I decided to try the original connector. It was easy to turn off the broken light. Turned it into new light and success. Zipped everything back. A bit frustrated that a simple 15 minute job turned into a few hours of troubleshooting. I also checked the connection with a voltmeter. Everything was measured the same on the new and old connectors, prompting me to take a closer look. That's when I found the misshapen one. The replacement fits the old one almost exactly, so I left the driver's side in place and just used the passenger's side. I still have a spare for the driver's side in case something happens to it. Overall impression is good, just wish it would work without all the troubleshooting.
