Review on ASUS ROG Gladius II Gaming Mouse, Black by Mateusz Mazurkiewicz ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I'm satisfied with it, there are only some small flaws.

I have been using it for over 2 years. I selected it according to the sensor, the manufacturer and the presence of the aiming button (I use it for another purpose). In general, the mouse is very successful. Perhaps the legs can be increased, but personally I did not notice any obvious problems with sliding. I think that if manufacturing flaws are corrected and the filling is improved, then this model has a very right to life.

Pros
  • A very accurate Pixart PMW3360 optical sensor is used. The mouse has a comfortable shape, high-quality materials, rubber inserts, optimal balance and weight. The top buttons are moderately soft with a fairly short clear click, the side buttons are slightly tighter and with a longer click. Clear software and built-in memory; hotkeys for switching modes. Spare mics included. There are many lighting options. Separately, I want to note the location of the additional aiming button, which is successful for me.
Cons
  • Build quality - there may be initial backlash at the keys (selected from several similar mice, one returned under warranty). Very rare, but unpleasant repeated operation of the left or right keys in the game - at the moment it is fixed by the firmware. The DPI step is 100 and there is no axis adjustment. Switching between profiles is not the first time (not critical). There was a slight backlash of the wheel and side key.
