I've been wearing Cohesion shoes for a long time. I run 50-100 miles a week and wear this line of shoes in 100-mile ultramarathons. I've put tons of miles on them, they hold up great and are cheap. I usually take Cohesion 10 because I know they work for me, but this time I decided to upgrade. What a terrible decision. According to Saucony, "The redesigned upper includes added heel support for a more comfortable and secure fit." This added healing support digs into my ankle so badly that both ankles have blistered, burst and are now swollen and preventing me from running for days, which is very unfortunate as I prepare for another 100 mile race. I rode about 20 miles in these shoes and will never wear them again. Happy to get back to my worn out 10 cohesion shoes that you can easily run 1000+ miles in because they don't dig into my heel. I would add a photo but it's so gross you don't want to see it. Sorry Saucony, I love this brand and had a lot of experience but missed this one.
