The bulbs themselves are great and the strip seems to be sticking to the underside of the clean gelcoat finish quite well after a week. However, the wiring harness that connects the IR receiver to the power supply was initially unreliable. I have to manipulate the wire into just the right position for the light to work and after a while the wire will return to the position breaking the circuit. I'll have to cut this piece of wire and re-solder it myself and I'm hoping this is the only such break in the power cable. There are hundreds of other LED strip kits available from dozens of different manufacturers. I will not buy it again for my next project.
