Review on Enhanced Visibility OXO Good Grips Fogless Shower Mirror by Vincent Pavelko

No, it is not an anti-fog mirror

Oxo To call it an anti-fog mirror is misleading at best. You can only claim this for technical reasons. If you remove the mirror from the wall, fill the thin hole with hot water and put it back in place, now covered in water droplets obscuring your vision, then yes - you're right that it's now fog free. What their designers no doubt know is that anyone buying an anti-fog mirror knows that an anti-fog mirror has to be whatever mirror you install in the shower and it just won't fog up. It's not a problem, and Oxo's brilliant designers (though they're otherwise superb) somehow missed it. Why did this product even see the light of day? Who wants to fill their mirror? I'm pretty sure I don't know what technology needs to be implemented to get a truly fog-free mirror, but without that we're left with this workaround. Just take a cheap mirror and apply a thin layer of petroleum jelly to it. Take the hassle out of everyday life and save $35.
