This thing is a beast. I've never tried a product like this before, so I was a little shocked by its sound when I first turned it on. It's a lot louder than the trimmer and feels a bit intimidating with all the tweezers. My son said it looked like a torture device. I'll say it was quite painful, but it was my first time and I've read that it's getting easier. At first I used it on my arms in short sessions for as long as I could take it. The best way I can describe it is almost like a tingling sensation but to the point of burning. I know it sounds intimidating but this thing does what it says on the tin and I should have more confidence and less body hair. My legs seemed to take pain harder, but I assume this is because the hair is coarser. I myself could not imagine using it in the intimate area, but that's just my thing. I am sure that many women are stronger than me! But it works very well.
