I had a hand carved night lamp from Spain using a standard European 220 volt 3 watt LED bulb based on EU size. This allowed me to use a Christmas tree sized stand in the adapter. E14 is a European two-wire lamp base, while E12 is an American size for "Christmas tree bulb" or "night light". Much cheaper and easier than rewiring the lamp base. Easier to find than a 110 volt low watt EU base.
