Review on HP FHD Touchscreen Quad Core I7 1065G7 by Ghazali Dikir

Well done, but I won't buy any more.

I didn't buy the laptop for myself, so I refrained from adding memory so that I wouldn't void the guarantee for the person who did buy it. It is impossible to install Windows 7 without casters, and while Win8.1 was installed without a hitch, I was unable to locate drivers for the graphics card and the wireless network. As a result, I was forced to install the most recent version of 10k, which has a worse performance than 8k, as it loads more slowly, shuts down more slowly, and frees up significantly less memory. As soon as the adjustments were made, 10ka started functioning in a manner that was closer to normal. In general, the laptop performs very well when it comes to office work as well as browsing the web, but it struggles when it comes to the NVME drive. The laptop is not suited for gaming, and even if the memory is set to 2-channel, the reason is the low power limit ( 15w). This is the reason why the frequency of the processor (and even memory!) constantly jumps, which causes stutters and friezes when playing games. I ordered this laptop through a promotion that cost a little more than 22, and for this price it is more or less normal. However, I do not recommend purchasing this laptop at its full price; instead, I suggest taking a closer look at other manufacturers because this case is too terrible (although maybe everyone now has it). The laptop has two memory slots; one of them has a 4GB SKHynix 4Gb DDR4-3200 module; however, it can only function properly on 2400 with horse timings of 17-17-17. It will not be possible to perform undervolting, nor will it be possible to overclock the memory. I am unable to comment on BIOS modifications because the AMD BIOS has been poorly studied, in contrast to the BIOS used by Intel. The Ryzen Master will not function, and the Quick CPU will provide no useful information.

Pros
  • This laptop features an in-plane switching (IPS) matrix, in addition to a processor that is reasonably quick. Another wonderful surprise was provided by Kingston in the form of an Extremely fast NVME drive.
Cons
  • The touchpad, when pressed, is pressed into the case, and look, now it will come off because the laptop case is of very poor quality, the entire thing is crumpled, and the touchpad is pressed into the case when it is pressed. This is the most significant disadvantage. Everything is very apparent with the quantity of RAM, however you need to add that sadly, disassembling a laptop without leaving any indications of opening it is really tough (see the analysis of a similar model 15s-eq1280ur on YouTube). -I would want an increase in the screen's highest level of brightness. This is a business laptop, and the manufacturer makes no claims that it can play games.
