This is the first time I've used a scented plug-in oil warmer. Oh boy! Talk about intense flavor! I started with 2 heaters and a medium setting in my 1400 sq. ft. ft. The smell is really pleasant, but acidic. I turned the setting down to the minimum on both heating pads and it still felt like I was in a perfumery. I do not want that. I ended up just using one of the heaters on the lowest setting and I have a wall outlet right next to the stove's return air intake so every time the stove is turned on it sucks in the smell and disperses it throughout the house. Now I just have a faint, not very pleasant odor all over my house. I also turn off the heating pad when I go to bed at night. I don't need perfume to put around the house when I'm awake. After a week of use I don't even see a dent in the oil. This pack will last me for a year.
