Good keyboard case but not perfect

At this price point this keyboard case isn't bad at all. Thinking about the installation first, it fits my keyboard perfectly and I had no trouble attaching it. . Some have mentioned issues with snippets not matching their keys, but I don't see any issues with that here. Completely satisfied with the fit here. It seems solid enough and should at least keep the keyboard clean of dirt. Well, in terms of usability, I have 2 comments. Firstly, I wish I could see some of the lights better. I can see the backlight is ok but there is no cutout for the backlight on the caps and mute buttons so you can see the indicator light. It's a minor issue, ultimately not enough to seriously deter anyone from buying, but a note nonetheless. The other part is the ease of typing. I've gotten used to it as I write this review, but it takes a little getting used to. I've found that I press the keys much harder, but that's more because I'm not used to such quiet keystrokes. I think it will be easy enough for most people to adapt in the long run. Finally, in terms of aesthetics, I wish the key spacing was more defined, but overall it still looks pretty good. . I have black keys and they don't look tacky or childish, so overall I'm quite happy.

Cons
  • Expensive insurance
