I'm lying in bed on the brink of a major breakdown. I think of my old bedding and wince. Take that damn blanket! A lid is not required. It's perfect for summer nights and I can't wait to use it when the weather turns cold (I get hot at night and I'm always looking for the perfect balance of cool and warm for maximum coziness). I have washed it several times and the quality has not deteriorated at all. No lumps, it's still nice and fluffy and definitely still comfortable. Get a large size and pair it with some good quality sheets (I found a white set of 1200's at Ross for about $30 but there are probably good quality sheets here too). Trust me - I made a conscious choice to come here to write this review rather than fall asleep with my day off. I wish there were more of them to create something like a super bed with a level of comfort completely unimaginable for a human being. 😴
