I ordered a size 10 cyan shorts. After trying other brands and sizes I will settle on this pair of board shorts. The material is nice and just what you expect from a short board. The length is perfect and the fit is very comfortable. I usually go for a size 6, 8 or medium but my stomach and waist are bigger and I usually have to go up a size, ugh! So I thought a size 10 was too big but fits just how I like it, not too tight, I'm 5.6 and about 138lbs. The color is pleasant, the color of the sea wave with a touch of blue-green, maybe a little less bright than on the website. Velcro fasteners at the front, there are two of them, the only impractical one. Other reviewers have mentioned that the drawstring/tie gets caught on the velcro. I still prefer velcro to a zipper or button. Two front pockets on the sides, no back pockets. I don't have the lining I prefer as I wear bikini bottoms anyway and just get these board shorts to cover and hide my problem areas.
