Review on Anker Powerline+ II Lightning Cable (6Ft) Computer Accessories & Peripherals by Larry Morris

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Just buy it now, knowing it will meet or exceed your expectations.

It's too early to say 10 out of 10. I have high standards. But with fast shipping to my door, great packaging and presentation, solid texture and feel for each of the components, and smooth charging I'm using when writing this review, I'll give this one a 5 out of 5. I ended up with two cords. They fit perfectly in a suitcase. By the way, the cover is very nice and VERY COMPACT (product photos are misleading). Wonderful! The only thing I want to do is add a similarly appropriate travel case for their 10ft cable. I would buy it in no time. And please untie the same braided cable with chargers with magnetic tips! But guess what, 6 feet is way better than 3 feet. So far I'm impressed and excited about the charging cable. And it requires a lot of technical skill and quality. Good job anchor! If anything goes wrong I'll update my review accordingly, but I don't expect that. When other users say that Apple should have included this quality of cable in their phones and tablets, they are 100% RIGHT! You'll wonder WHY you've been using Apple's inferior OEM cables for so long. Now anchor. When are you going to upgrade ALL your other useful cables to Powerline+II? I want to see everything! USB-C to USB-C and other commonly used iterations. I went ahead and got the Anker PowerPort 6 IQ 6-port charger as well and, as you might expect, they both work very well. Currently charges iPhone 6s+ and iPad Pro 2016. Love it! UPDATE December 2018: I actively use the 6ft and 10ft cords from this Powerline+ II range at home, work and when traveling and have not had a single issue. Saved my neck a few times. I have recommended them to many people. I have family members who fight over who gets to use my cables when they arrive. Caveat: Revain is now selling a fake version to compete with the Anker cables. Don't buy these, they're not in the same league as these. You could save a few bucks, but if you read some of their reviews, you'll realize that not everything about these fakes is amazing. I was rough with them. No questions. Since last year 2 Apple Lightning cables have failed and this has become my favorite cable.

Pros
  • Durability: 30 times longer service life than conventional cables. They have been proven to withstand 30,000 flexes under laboratory conditions.
