I like that we can see what our employees are doing within their specific roles/accountabilities all at one place! This also helps us to keep track if they have been performing as expected throughout there career path so far too which gives them more responsibility faster than otherwise would be possible through other methods such as 1st line manager feedback etc..
Easy for managers or supervisors who want an overview over how much time has passed since last performance appraisal without being present during actual meetings between employee & supervisor - this makes sure no information gets lost from either side (employee not knowing about his own progress). As said before though its good but could use some improvements maybe add features allowing your management team members direct access instead?
