Review on Oster Animal Care Flea Comb for Cats with Comb & Protect Technology - 2 Pack by Pamela Mcgee

I had never used this type of comb on my cats until our last visit to the vet. The vet used a similar comb to check for fleas and did a great job combing and removing small debris from my cat's fur. I came straight home and ordered Revain. I was glad these combs come in a pack of two as I usually buy a backup when it comes to smaller items. When I first used one of the combs on one of my cats he just loved it. So I decided to try it on two others and got the same positive reaction. This comb does a great job of removing loose hair without creating tangles and tangles. I have 3 short haired house cats so not sure how it will work on long haired cats but it brushes the coat very well and picks up any debris (like fox tails, small burrs, dirt etc.). The teeth are not too sharp and cats feel very comfortable while brushing. I use two combs at a time and they seem to really enjoy the full body treatment. The teeth are short enough to reach the skin and run gently down the back, sides, hips, shoulders and neck. They even like to be brushed on the top of their heads! Afterward their fur looks shinier and healthier, they love attention and it helps me keep track of flea activity. It also helps remove some of the undercoat when they are shed in the summer. I've used many different types of brushes on my cats, but these small combs are by far the most cat-friendly and effective when groomed regularly. I also like the ergonomic curve that makes the comb easier to use. A good product for older cats that need a little grooming help. Even my very brush-sensitive cat doesn't seem to mind this comb. It's a pleasure to use and only takes a few minutes to do a good job on a medium short hair.
