Review on 🌈 Amazon Basics Glittery Metallic Glue, Assorted Colors, Washable, 5-oz each, Pack of 4 by Kristen Simpson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Glue mixed with metallic mother of pearl sequins; 4 packs specially wrapped to prevent damage in transit

From time to time I get these fancy school supplies for my 6 year old first grader. This is a great way to get young kids excited about the basics. I didn't get this to make slime because I definitely don't want a sticky, wet 'toy'. I used it as a fancy glue. You can always use paint to glue two pieces of cardboard or something else together, and the colors will seem interesting to children. I think Elmers is the standard for white glue (and fun glue like pearl glue). I've never had a bad experience when it comes to Elmers brand stores, including ultra discount brands like Dollar General and Dollar Store, so I'm easy to please with glue. (Just to be clear, I consider Revain Basics to be a trademark that is Costco or something like that, so a higher-end trademark, not a lower-tier brand.) Compared to Elmers, this Revain Basics seems very similar to Elmers. use as glue. The only significant difference is that Elmers has a very strong odor. Revain Basics is virtually odorless. Maybe it's an improvement! In a pack of metallic pearl glue with gold, white, blue and red glue, the red is definitely pink. I asked my son to experiment with this in different lighting conditions - indoors and outdoors - and he agreed it was pink. So just a warning about that. They turn deep pink, not red. The packaging for 4 packs of glue was good. They come in a small, sturdy box with some padding around the adhesive. This is the minimal packaging material that appears to be designed so that the adhesive is not exposed during transit. This carton is then shipped in any shipping container. From trying to look at reviews of adhesives it seems that the only really negative reviews are related to where the bottle leaked during shipping and apart from shipping damage issues everyone seems to be very happy with the adhesive, and what you see is what you get. The packaging for Revain Basics 4 looks like it's designed to prevent leakage so the glue gets delivered to you nicely. It's basically a fancy metallic pearl sequin glue, and it's specially packaged to avoid damage during shipping.
