Had to return due to terrible artifacts and reflections. I first noticed this in a glossy photo taken underwater. The real scanner lens was clearly visible in the center of the image. As soon as I noticed it, I started seeing it in other photos. Also, there was a white reflection on the left side of the photos. I scanned over 100 photos in one day (various sizes and styles) and when I saw them I couldn't *not* see them. I didn't use slides or negative holders. The photo holder is visible and must be cropped from each image. In addition, the supplied software is only used for business card recognition; You need to go online to buy photo software. Generally not recommended.
