Review on Alan Wake Xbox 360 by Adam Domaski ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good product, I recommend that you try it.

I liked the game in general. Here you have a tricky movie plot and solid physics and combat system. Good graphics for its time. But there are "buts" that spoil the impression of the game. I must say right away that I started the game on a difficult one (2nd out of 3 difficulties). 1. Poor optimization on PC. On the i5-8400 and Rx550, it was not possible to get more than 32 fps. No graphic manipulations, patches, settings helped. By the way, on this computer and RE3 Remake was on. 2. Zero replay value. It makes no sense to replay the game, since collecting bonus items does not give and there is almost no sense, with the exception of adding the plot lore. And for the sake of achievements, it is necessary to p, but tedious and boring. Kolektebels for Kolektebels. 3. Problem with enemy placement and difficulty balance. In some places it is very easy to play and there are heaps of cartridges. And in some places it’s quite sad, they attack in droves, the enemies are fast and kill in 2-3 hits. There is not enough ammo and the enemies are endless. It's the dumbest thing that could have been done. All this really spoils the game and immersion in an interesting plot. 4. Long. It's artificially stretched. 12-16 hours to complete the story and DLC is a lot. I'm not new to the SH genre and I've never been dumb, but I couldn't get through quickly. Because in places we just go. go. Go. I'm not talking about cutscenes and not about story gameplay, but about places where we crawl through the forest for a really long time or drive along the road. The game could have been cut by at least 25%. It would do her good. In general, despite its year, it is still relevant. It is convenient to play on the gamepad. For modern gamers, the game will seem if played on hard. It is better to start on easy, so that it burns less and enjoy the plot. You have to leave the table a little hungry.
