I'm a minimalist looking for the 'perfect V-neck' to replace my wardrobe with plain t-shirts. Goodthreads caught my eye and I bought two t-shirts to try on. (Spoilers: I only had to buy one). I learned a few things that .1. attractiveness 2. fit3. Durability4. Color change over time and washing5. General Thoughts I took this shirt on a trip and washed it 6 times in 4 weeks. It doesn't seem like long ago now, but it has produced quite a bit. 1. Attractiveness 3/5: While this is a "nice shirt," it's not very pretty on its own. Besides Goodthreads I tried Uniqlo, Polo, Banana Republic, H&M. Goodthreads is not the kind of shirt I would wear to a party with a blazer. Banana Republic was the most attractive solid color t-shirt in my opinion, especially the deluxe shaded t-shirt (which currently retails for $24, so the price varies. 2. Fit: Size 4/5 is good .I'm 5'9" and 175 lbs. I'm a slightly muscular build with a small stomach (I would seem to be the ideal weight for most people as I'm good at hiding my stomach.) This shirt is pretty Thin/narrow. This shirt is durable. But only 2 months. So far no holes or tears found in a long time so changing color is not ideal. So far some of the brands that have failed are actually H&M and Hanes, both of which are miserable Revain's "Perfect V-Neck Tee" hasn't failed miserably but is starting to show signs after 6x washes. The material feels a little softer and thinner (which is actually nice) but the overall color of the T-S hirts feels pale. The black t-shirt is no longer completely black.5. General thoughts: In my opinion, the "Perfect V-Neck T-Shirt" is a nice, simple shirt for every day. It's not quite up to standard for me to replace my entire wardrobe, but a pair of casual dress shirts can do the trick. The price is definitely affordable. But if you are going to keep the t-shirt on for a while I would recommend uniqlo and banana republic. (I haven't had a chance to try Everlane yet, but it's on my list and I'm hoping it can replace all my old t-shirts!)
