so far I like the brightness, quality and ease of installation. I bought 2 sets of headlights to fit the front and rear of my winter snowplow tractor. I bought a lighting kit that included a wire harness as that was the most economical and I used them individually. The product notes say you can connect 2 lights to the same harness, which is true, but they must be installed within 3ft, which was not the case in my case. Thus 2 lamps can work on the same harness but note that they must be installed close to each other. I cut off the extra connectors and soldered the wires to make them waterproof. Bought a front panel mount kit. I had to add longer screws to secure the front guard. This time I didn't want to drill into the front steel guard. Might do it in the future. The transom was mounted on a tilt frame and the holes I used were already made at the factory so it was easy. Brackets on the lantern are adjustable and slide along the full length of the lantern body. I pulled the wire from the outside and secured it with special outside zippers. The tether switches are waterproof and light up when switched on which is a great addition! Once I drilled a hole in the plastic dashboard, the switches snapped securely into the hole. Use a conical drill as you can check the hole size on the go! The switch had a quick connector so if it went straight into the hole I know the switch will lock securely. Installation was easy and the wiring harness has a built in fuse. The kit includes all the parts needed for connection, even extra fuses and connectors. I used heat shrink tubing to seal all connections as they are exposed to water and snow. Since I installed the flashlight upside down, I also sealed the spot where the wire enters the flashlight body, just to be safe. I recommend them to add a bright light to every application!
