Modern design but detachable spider mics can be used to help with quieter or more distant speakers

I really like this unit although I have a few issues with it. It's not a phone, but it extends the use of a smartphone via Bluetooth. The design is very modern, with flat touch controls and beeps/lights to confirm button selection. It even has a light that moves to show the source direction of microphones found during an in-person meeting. And the block holds the power very well. It's not small, but it's not bulky or too big either, about the size/diameter of a medium sized frisbee and about 2 inches tall. And Bluetooth is easy to connect. I think the instructions for use could be much better. But the speaker, which carries the caller's voice face-to-face to the meeting participants, sounds very clear and natural/pleasant. I bought two other devices from different companies to compare and this device from eMeet is the best I could find. I'm having a few issues with this, which I'll cover below. I use it like this: I connect bluetooth to my mobile phone and then also call the conference line from the same mobile phone and so all the callers in the conference line at our face-to-face meeting are switched into this device through my phone using the speaker and microphone functions of my mobile phone from my phone to this device. My biggest complaint is that when I'm using it for small (10-15 people), any person sitting 5 or 6 feet from the device and/or having a low or low voice can be quite difficult for callers to get spoken to to understand words. I've found that it's best to have it on a large table not only to get as close as possible to the chest or face of the face-to-face speaking member, but also so that the voices of those who meet face to face, can bounce off the table on the way to 4 built-in microphones around the design case. My solution for low voices would be to have the manufacturers permanently wire a pair of spider mics with good quality cable that can come out of the base. in two directions, say maybe 4 feet? Or offer 3ft and 6ft extensions, something like that. But make them permanent, or at least make them easy to clip to the sides of the main unit for compact storage. Because soft, soft, or distant speakers are difficult to capture with a single microphone or microphones in the middle of a conference table. Also, this device does not come with a carrying case; This device, like others, is designed to be carried/charged ahead of time, meaning someone can take it with them, but no carrying case is provided. Even if it were a single purchase, I would buy it. In the end I had to size and price the case which turned out to be "good" but wasn't designed exactly for the item so while it protects some it's not as good as a manufacturer making a custom app for created their type of device. . In fact, I bought a small fabric case with a soft interior designed for a tablet. This speakerphone is 7 to 8 inches wide so it fits inside. There is also a light that will blink while charging and then stay on, but I think a light going off would be the best indicator that it's fully charged. Overall I think the quality and ease of use is very good. I just wish the low voice issue was addressed more and as I said addressed with microphones that could be a few feet from the base to better pick up the voice of those who are face to face/indoors. We literally hand the device across the table to make sure callers can hear our voices, but it's this level of control that ruins the entire interaction at some level when the presenter and some of the participants become face-to-face focused. about where the device is, not what they are sharing or what the meeting/interaction is about. Finally I have some thoughts on the price which I will post in a moment but I still like the device and it is very easy to charge and use and more. better than others, voices can be heard over the dynamics of the device itself. For callers who hear participants face-to-face, being able to direct people in the Personal Room to say something really helps. I would definitely recommend it to a friend, despite less than ideal results, which I detail here. Now for the price: the price of over 325€ was a bit high for some of these missing parts in my experience and the price also went up after I bought such a high dollar it's not the end of the world if the product was really tried and tested decides everything , which is what I'm talking about here, but given some overlooked quality issues, I think others will find the investment a bit cool. I think some people might be tempted to just hand out their cell phones in a meeting, as the microphone and speakers on most modern phones are very good and of course this option costs next to nothing for those who already have phones. But asking a group to shell out $350 to $400 and then getting some legitimate cons after that investment is something that I don't think some people will appreciate. Downloading instructions before selling, providing a good carry case or paying part of the price and keeping the price competitive they might just sell a lot more of these as I believe the market for such devices is definitely bigger than now never before.
