I fully charged both lights upon unboxing. I placed them under cabinets with motion sensitivity enabled. Both lanterns worked like a charm, detecting movement and lighting up. And this morning one of the lights didn't come on. One now works as usual, but the other doesn't detect movement no matter how close I am to the sensor. I charged the faulty light to see if it was a power consumption issue and it wasn't. Still doesn't light up no matter how much movement. A few days later. I seem to understand why the motion controls aren't working at certain times. All of this is in my kitchen. During the day when the sunlight fills the room, the infrared motion sensors can't pick up my movements because there may be no change in the infrared spectrum. When the sun goes down, the motion sensors finally work as advertised. Perhaps someone else (or the manufacturer) can confirm this.
