I am happy with this purchase. I used to make little pancakes with a pancake maker on the stovetop, but I hated that I couldn't keep the temperature even, so it was all hit and miss. it keeps the ideal temperature! No burning! What? I have to admit that it takes some practice with the spreader. I'm used to rotating the pan so it took a few tries to master the technique. But, you know what? They still tasted great! The spatula/thumer works great though! I never thought how much easier making pancakes could be. Although it says to use an oil or spray I found I didn't need to. What's even nicer is that after the pancakes I made the eggs! No additional pot! Plus, it's super easy to wash!
