If you are looking for a chair with a back then this is fine. If you're looking for something different, look elsewhere. If you are looking for a neck support and were hoping for a head support, you will be disappointed. The headrest is great when I want to mount my monitors on the ceiling. Maybe it's my height, which is 5ft 11in for reference, but when I'm sitting upright there's no headrest. This is my first time owning a mesh chair, so I think it's normal for my butt to hurt after 30 minutes of sitting. Be sure to include a cushion with this chair if you buy one (which I don't).
