Over the years I have purchased about two dozen Mystique candles - both cone and column shaped. I ordered these to add to my collection but found that Mystique had changed the depth of the glow at the top of the candle. So while all my other candles have a very faint glow under the wick, which I find more natural, these new ones have at least 1/4 inch under the wick. So, among other things, they look out of place to me. I had to throw them away and order the Luminaria brand which I also have and which retains a natural subtle sheen on top. I first discovered a flameless candle from Luminaria and immediately ordered several. It wasn't until I discovered Mystique candles, which cost a little less than Luminaria, that I switched to them - but now I'm buying and recommending Luminaria brand candles again.
