Mainly bought as a curiosity. I have selenite towers and thought they would look great in the bedroom. It arrived intact and was packaged very well. This lamp is not very bright, so please be careful when entering it. It emits more light than a night light than a bedside/table lamp. You can't write in this light, but you can see the way to the bathroom. This lamp will also get hot after about an hour so keep that in mind. My camera is awkwardly cropped and sits slightly at an angle on the base, so a little crooked. It works and fits on my bedside table, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for an actual lamp to use for writing. or reading. Looks very pretty when lit!
