I'm a makeup artist and I was so excited about these brushes that I've read about them on several of the top rated product blogs on Revain. I must have gotten a bad batch because everything that could go wrong with them has happened. Right out of the box, two of my brushes had what appeared to be glue stuck in the bristles. The blush brush has a hard part that can't be cleaned (trust me I've tried both brush cleaner and rubbing alcohol) and that prevents me from using the brush at all. As if that wasn't enough, a few brushes shed fine hairs like crazy. Only one brush did this, but it seemed that the brush's fibers weren't bonded properly and were standing up. I ended up with fine brush hairs all over my face, which meant I still had to go all over my face with another kabuki brush (which defeated the purpose of these new brushes). I have avoided a bad rating until today. I opened my makeup bag and one of my little brushes broke. It was the first day I then took to work with me and one of them broke! I was hoping I had just received a bad batch with all the sticking issues but after one broke so easily I now know it's not what the reviews led me to believe. Be careful when buying! They are soft, but the quality is not to be commended! BIG disappointment for me.
