My waist is 39 inches. At first I ordered 42-44 inches on their advice. Too big and I sent it back. Then I ordered 38-40". Still too big. They say order a bigger belt and then cut it. Easy to say, not easy to do. No instructions included. I figured out how to buckle loosens, and it took a small strong flathead screwdriver blade to open (after figuring out it opens on the buckle side, not the belt side.) I had to cut four (4) inches to fit the belt when the buckle was in the middle hole I have no idea how this belt will hold up but you should be aware of the difficulty of getting the right size.
