Update: I ended up highlighting the hair again and trying again to see if it would improve the result. This time the purple really came out a lot better. I think the strangest thing about this color is that the closer it was to the roots, the pinker it was. (The difference was much more noticeable in person.) I've been wearing it in my hair for about a month now and it's still holding up. The blurred image of the face is how it disappeared during that time. I prefer the maintenance free INH bear hair color, feel it gives you the result you expect, for this you really need white hair for the best results as even light blonde gives you more of a pinkish purple. ----- Review on ----- My natural hair comes close to "Caramel" in the color chart and didn't really catch my eye when testing it that way. So I bleached my hair, my blonde is now champagne blonde according to the color chart (it looks darker in the photo I took for some reason). But it's more the color that they say. it should look like caramel hair. Does it really look like they are dying my hair instead of actually dying it? In my picture you can hopefully see purple-pink light stripes on the stretched part. The pink stripe in the middle is purple hair dye after using it on my hair for 5 days. (I never rinsed it out after applying it, and I only ran water through my hair once.) I also tested it on my dog, looking at the ingredients and comparing it to Arctic Fox, a well-known one Brand that is safe for dogs It appeared to have the exact same ingredients so I gave it a try, assuming it should be relatively safe. (But just in case I didn't let it touch her skin.) It showed up quite well on her white fur and lasted about 3 weeks? So I felt like your hair needs to be really quite light to really shine through. so that I feel visibly purple? I'm not sure I like the look of the color enough in my test area to dye all my hair with it, but I'm wondering if it would look better than just my test area.
