Review on Logitech G G502 X Gaming Mouse, white by Adam Wojtczuk ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not everything is so bad, the average purchase in quality.

The time has come to replace your beloved, "legendary" as Logitech calls it, g502 with the ated g502x. I thought that the new mouse, which is more expensive than the old one, in a new design, with new technologies, is exactly the right replacement. But unfortunately this is not the case at all. I'm writing this review to warn nerds like me. The mouse has lost some of the advantages that the regular g502 had. Unfortunately. I bought g502x for 6500. The old g502 can be found for 4000, if not cheaper. Therefore, think 10 times, but rather look live. Then everything will become clear to you. From the fact that they added a new sensor and mechanical-optical switches, but in my opinion, this does not affect the game. Apparently this is cooler than everything that was removed from the mouse .

Pros
  • It is difficult to say about the merits in comparison with the previous version. If not looking back: * Nice material * Comfortable shape, anatomical. Became IMHO a little more comfortable to lie in the hand. * Programmable keys * Now it is possible to put a cap on the DPI change button under the thumb.
Cons
  • * She is very light. For some, this will be a plus. But it became light due to the fact that the metal wheel was replaced with a plastic one. And the plastic wheel makes its plastic sounds and feels much worse than metal. * Removed the ability to change the weights, so now there is no way to make the mouse lighter or heavier. For some, this may be a disadvantage. *Removed backlight. The usual g502 had it, and with the ability to synchronize with the backlight of the entire PC. Now only expensive g502x plus mice have backlighting. Keep this in mind. * The wire is now without a braid. * Removed DPI mode indication
