I just installed these headlights and am very happy with them. The light is bright and the switch to choose from three different light tones is great. If there is a lot of firewood in the kitchen, we prefer the warmest environment. And the fact that they can be dimmed is also a big advantage, because they emit a lot of light when they are at full power. I definitely recommend using them with a dimmer. One note: if they are off and the dimmer is set to the lowest setting, they will not turn on until the dimmer is turned up to about 1/3. Not a problem but might lead someone to believe they are defective. Installation (as a replacement - the wiring was already in place) was as easy as you would expect for anything under a cupboard. The connectors inside are male type - just strip the end of the wire and insert it into the connector. Slightly more compact than wire nuts.
