Review on UNITEK Aluminum Compact SanDisk Professional by Mark Turner

I bought this device to transfer photos and videos taken with my new Nikon camera. The latest versions of Nikon do not have the proper software to convert NEF (Camera Raw) images to a format that allows editing images in Photoshop or Lightroom. It looks like Nikon's transfer software is corrupting these files making them unusable. This creates a situation where many of your precious photos can be lost. This device allows me to securely insert a SIM card into the device and the images appear in a folder on my computer's desktop. Then I open a file called "Adobe DNG Converter" (available for free online) and convert the corrupted NEF files to DNG files that Lightroom and Photoshop understand. I haven't lost a photo since then! If you have a Nikon camera, you definitely need this camera!
